1. General Information Regarding the Right to Apply

In accordance with Article 11 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“Law No. 6698”), as a data owner, you can apply to DENİZİN MEDICAL DEVICES AND EQUIPMENT INDUSTRY TRADE LTD. CO. (“DENİZ” or “COMPANY”) and make the requests listed below:

1) Learn whether your personal data is processed or not,
2) Request information if your personal data has been processed,
3) Learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether they are used accordingly,
4) Learn the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
5) Request correction of your personal data if processed incompletely or incorrectly and request that this correction be notified to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,
6) Although processed in accordance with Law No. 6698 and other relevant laws, request deletion, destruction or anonymization of your personal data if the reasons requiring processing have ceased to exist and request that this be notified to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,
7) Object to the emergence of a result against yourself by analyzing your processed data exclusively through automated systems,
8) Request compensation for damages if you suffer harm due to unlawful processing of your personal data.
Our Company will finalize your application as soon as possible and no later than thirty (30) days based on the nature of the request in accordance with Article 13 of Law No. 6698.

2. Application Method

You can submit your requests within the scope of your rights mentioned above, pursuant to Article 13 of Law No. 6698 and Article 5 of the Communiqué on Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller; in writing or via registered electronic mail (KEP) address, secure electronic signature, mobile signature, or by using the electronic mail address you have previously notified to our Company and that is registered in our system. As DENİZ, in the capacity of data controller, we will collect, record, store, update, disclose to third parties where permitted by legislation, transfer, classify, use, and process your personal data in accordance with the KVKK within the framework explained below.

3. WHAT ARE THE METHODS AND LEGAL GROUNDS FOR COLLECTING PERSONAL DATA?

Your personal data obtained by DENİZ can be categorized as identity information, contact information, personnel information, transaction security information, and legal transaction and compliance information. Such personal data can be collected verbally, in writing, or electronically through channels such as the internet or electronic transaction platforms. The personal data obtained through these methods are processed only within the scope of personal data processing conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law.

4. WHAT ARE THE PURPOSES OF PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

Your personal data is processed by DENİZ and persons in a business relationship with DENİZ only within the scope of the personal data processing conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law, in a limited and proportionate manner connected to the purposes of ensuring the legal, technical, and commercial security of business relations, managing access records, fulfilling obligations arising from legislation, and related purposes.

5. WITH WHOM AND FOR WHAT PURPOSES CAN YOUR PERSONAL DATA BE SHARED?

Your personal data may be shared with parties providing products or services on behalf of DENİZ and our business partners within the scope of establishing, conducting, and terminating your business relationship with DENİZ, including those with whom we cooperate to provide you products and services.
Your personal data may also be shared with legally authorized public institutions and private persons within their authority. DENİZ takes necessary measures to ensure that the parties with whom your personal data are shared process and transfer the data in accordance with the declarations in this information text and the provisions of legislation, and within the framework of personal data processing conditions specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law.

6. WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS ACCORDING TO ARTICLE 11 OF THE KVKK AND HOW CAN YOU EXERCISE THEM?

As the data subject (Relevant Person), if you submit your requests regarding your rights specified below by filling out the Application Form available at https://www.deniztibbi.com or by the methods specified at the same address, your requests will be evaluated and concluded as soon as possible and in any case within 30 (thirty) days. Fees may be charged during the processing of these requests in accordance with the tariff announced by the Personal Data Protection Authority.

According to Article 11 of the Law, as the personal data owner you have the following rights:
• To learn whether your personal data is being processed,
• If your personal data is processed, to request information about it,
• To learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether it is being used accordingly,
• To know the third parties in the country or abroad to whom your personal data has been transferred,
• If your personal data has been processed incompletely or incorrectly, to request its correction and to request notification of the operation carried out within this scope to third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred,
• Despite being processed in accordance with the Law and other relevant laws, to request deletion or destruction of your personal data and to request notification of this to third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred if the reasons requiring processing have ceased to exist,
• To object to the emergence of a result against yourself by analyzing your processed data exclusively through automated systems,
• To request compensation for damages in case your personal data is unlawfully processed causing harm.
