The Work We Do
Manufacturing surgical instruments brings very different skills together in one workshop. Machining and heat treatment call for knowledge of machines and metallurgy; the hand finishing side calls for craftsmanship built over years in tip finishing, sharpening and alignment; quality calls for discipline in measurement, recording and documentation. Alongside these are the office roles in export, sales and technical support.
Training and Development
On the production side a new employee starts alongside an experienced craftsman and takes on responsibility over time. That is the only way the part of hand work which cannot be learned from a book is passed on. The training required by our quality management system is run on record; which employee is authorised for which operation is documented.

The Working Environment
Our production and office units sit together at our facility in Bornova, Izmir. Having the workshop and the sales and technical support teams in the same building means feedback from the field reaches production directly; why an instrument did not behave as expected is usually traced back to a production step the same day.
Medical device manufacturing leaves a narrow margin for error. Everyone who starts here is therefore expected to record what they do and to stop and ask when in doubt. That care carries as much weight in our assessment as experience does.
