What Each Catalog Covers
The General Surgical Instruments Catalog covers every instrument range we manufacture and is the first place to look when checking which sizes a range comes in. The General Surgery Instruments catalog takes the general surgery part of that long list separately and allows faster browsing.
Separate catalogs are prepared for narrower ranges. The Bimanual Aspiration and Irrigation Handles catalog covers handles used for simultaneous irrigation and aspiration in microsurgery; the Mammaplasty Lighted Retractors catalog covers illuminated retractors used in breast surgery; the Cervical Micro Discectomy Instruments catalog covers the micro instrument range used in spine surgery. The Alger Brush and Face Lift Set catalogs are likewise devoted to their own fields.
How to Use the Catalogs
The catalogs are PDF files and open when the cover is clicked. File sizes are noted under each cover; the general catalog is larger than the others because of its scope and may take longer to download on a mobile connection.
Product codes in the catalogs can be used directly at the quotation stage. If you work from your own instrument list you can match items against it, and you can contact us for special sizes not listed. To see ready set contents prepared by specialty, review the Surgical Set Contents page.
If You Cannot Find a Product
Our catalogs cover the standard sizes in production. Making an instrument in a length not listed, with a different tip geometry or another jaw pattern, is possible in most cases. For such requests it is enough to send a photograph or the dimensions of the sample you have.
Likewise, the contents of the sets in the catalogs are not fixed. If your technique or the hospital's instrument list differs, a set can be recomposed: unused items removed and the instruments you need added.
Branded Production
Products in the catalog can also be made under the customer's own brand on request. Brand name, catalog number and lot data are laser marked on the instrument body, with a barcode or 2D data matrix code added if wanted. The details are on the OEM Marking page.
